Todd Baptista is host of "Wax Museum"

Wax Museum airs Tuesdays at 10 PM EST and Wednesdays  at 9 PM EST .

A native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, Todd Baptista’s lifelong interest in vocal group harmony music and writing has yielded four critically acclaimed books including 2007’s Group Harmony: Echoes Of The Rhythm & Blues Era.

 His literary works documenting the history of rhythm and blues and doo wop have appeared in magazines including Goldmine and Blues & Rhythm, and in the liner notes for various CD reissue projects.  He has served as an on-air contributor in the BBC-2 Radio documentary series, Street Corner Soul, historian for Doo-Wop and DC: DC's R&B Musical Past Through Discussion and Song at Howard University, and hosted and produced various radio programs including the Wax Museum, originally established, hosted, and produced by Todd and his late father, Randy, beginning in 1998.

A full-time clinical consultant pharmacist, Todd has hosted and co-produced a series of successful concerts featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Little Anthony and the Imperials, Charlie Thomas’ Drifters, Terry Johnson’s Flamingos, Frankie Lymon’s Legendary Teenagers, and other pioneers including Jack Scott, the Skyliners, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, the Vibrations, Mystics, G-Clefs, Cadillacs, and Clovers at various venues in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.
